The Center for Sustainable Business Practices is one of four centers within the Lundquist College of Business. Within the overall Oregon MBA program, the Center for Sustainable Business Practices provides the platform for experiential learning on sustainability; it complements and supports the curriculum by linking students with industry via consulting projects and internships, seminars, speakers, and mentorships, leadership and event management opportunities. The Center serves and supports a specialized curricular track on the MBA level and has its own staff and facility for organizing center events and activities.

The Lundquist Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (LCE) at the University of Oregon’s Lundquist College of Business educates, inspires and empowers future entrepreneurs. Since its inception in 1989, the LCE has earned a stellar reputation for  providing one of the finest entrepreneurial education experiences in the country. The LCE provides students with learning and experiential opportunities that enable them to succeed as innovative, responsible and effective business leaders. The LCE runs two specific programs of note: Technology Entrepreneurship Program and the New Venture Challenge.


The LCE is committed, in both concept and action, to “adding value by creating, sharing, and promoting business knowledge through cooperation and collaboration among students, faculty, and the greater business community.”  LCE has been honored as one of the top twenty five programs by Entrepreneur magazine and The Princeton Review. The center ranked number twenty-three in the graduate category of the 2008 survey.

As the first endowed sports marketing M.B.A. program to be housed within a university, the Warsaw Center is a pioneer in educating tomorrow's industry leaders. Competing in an industry representing as much as $500-billion in revenues worldwide, the James H. Warsaw Sports Marketing Center is the premiere sports education and research program in the world and has become a model for sports-business programs in schools across the country. In fact, Sports Illustrated recognized the University of Oregon as home to the best sports business program in 2002. Most recently, ESPN The Magazine called on the Warsaw Center once again to develop an authoritative fan value ranking for all 121 major league teams.  In addition to delivering a superior classroom experience, the Warsaw Center creates experiential learning opportunities for the students which enable them to apply what they’ve learned in the classroom to real-world business situations.

The Securities Analysis Center was created in partnership with industry to provide the finest education for the professions related to financial management and securities analysis. The Center’s curriculum provides a strong and integrated emphasis on both accounting and finance, with an orientation towards global markets.  We complement this with continuous opportunities to collaborate with industry on the topics of the day via research projects, internships, seminars, speakers, and mentoring opportunities.  Our goal is to bring students together with industry to build working relationships and gain the practical knowledge that can only come through collaborating with practitioners in real time.  Our students go on to pursue careers in investment management, corporate finance, investment banking, risk management, accounting, and alternative investing.
