Cohen, VP for Research and Senior Fellow at Resources for the Future and Professor of Management and Law at Vanderbilt University, examined the social and legal pressures for environmental disclosures, and various disclosure programs to understand what is known and unknown about their effectiveness as a regulatory mechanism.
