ManagementThe Introduction to the Management of Technology examines how companies succeed or fail to build competitive differentiation through innovation in products, processes, and business models. The goal of the course is to build a framework for evaluating how different forms of innovation can be applied and to understand how to build strategies to make the most of a technology’s potential. In addition to the assigned texts, we will focus on the back stories of the unique companies and individuals who have established new models for innovation. The final class session focuses on CSR and business model innovation with a case on NetHope-collaborating for the future.
